Job summary

Redhorse Corporation is seeking a Software Engineer specializing in ServiceNow to design, develop, and implement an integrated enterprise IT support model for a government Sponsor.

You will modernize talent and human capital systems, supporting learning, training, language development, retention, and performance management with user‑centered ServiceNow solutions to improve efficiency and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (or Sponsor clearance eligibility).
• 5+ years software engineering experience with ServiceNow development.
• Experience analyzing and documenting web-based components and APIs.
• Experience interfacing with web-based databases and reporting/analytics.
• Experience Agile development with Jira.
• Experience GitHub/Subversion version control.
• Experience managing Tier 1-3 IT service management workflows.
• Experience creating IT documentation including SOPs, SSPs.
• Experience implementing federal accessibility standards.
• Experience supporting compliance or performance management applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, maintain, test, and document ServiceNow software applications, databases, and cloud services.
• Support Sponsor-defined objectives for ServiceNow features and enterprise architecture.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, using Jira for sprint tracking and delivery.
• Conduct unit, functional, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Implement security, accessibility, and RMF-aligned standards in software.
• Propose UI/UX improvements to reduce O&M overhead and modernize web components.
• Adhere to Sponsor's document management plan for code, data, and versioning.
• Oversee Tier 1–3 support workflows and incident resolution.
