Bart & Associates, Inc. is seeking an experienced ServiceNow Scrum Master to lead Agile delivery teams supporting ServiceNow initiatives in the Washington, DC area.

The role emphasizes servant leadership, coaching, and removing impediments to maximize productivity and collaboration among stakeholders and developers. The successful candidate will facilitate Scrum ceremonies, partner with Product Owners, and ensure backlog readiness while driving continuous process improvement and transparency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience serving as a Scrum Master in Agile software development environments.
• Hands-on experience supporting or delivering projects on the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams delivering ServiceNow solutions and enhancements.
• Facilitate all Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
• Coach team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and continuous improvement techniques.
• Monitor team performance and effectiveness, helping teams achieve sprint goals and maintain a high level of delivery quality.
• Identify and remove impediments that may impact team productivity or project success.
• Act as a neutral facilitator to resolve conflicts and foster collaboration among developers, stakeholders, customers, and business partners.
• Partner with Product Owners to ensure backlog readiness, prioritization, and alignment with business objectives.
• Promote transparency through Agile metrics, sprint reporting, and stakeholder communications.
• Support release planning, dependency management, and risk mitigation activities.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to increase team velocity, quality, and predictability.
• Ensure Agile and Scrum processes are consistently followed across ServiceNow development efforts.
