Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services seeks a ServiceNow ITAM/SAM Pro specialist to design and implement the SAM module, manage lifecycle, and drive license optimization in a global enterprise. The role requires deep ITAM and licensing knowledge, strong communication, and ITIL familiarity.

Based in Plano, TX, the candidate will collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Vendors to align SAM strategies with business objectives and ensure compliance and efficient software distribution.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with the ServiceNow ITAM and SAM Pro modules.
• Experience with ServiceNow customizations and data management.
• In-depth understanding of software license models (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP).
• Strong IT Asset Management principles and best practices.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of ITIL practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and configure the ServiceNow SAM Pro module.
• Manage the software asset lifecycle from request to retirement.
• Integrate SAM with other ServiceNow modules.
• Automate processes like license harvesting, reclamation, and compliance checks.
• Conduct regular software compliance audits and remediation plans.
• Optimize software licensing and usage, reduce costs by eliminating redundancies, ensure proper software distribution.
• Ensure data quality and integrity within the SAM module, CMDB, and Discovery.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track software usage, compliance, and optimization efforts.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, Procurement, and Vendors to align SAM strategies with business objectives.

Salary Range : $120,000 to $140,000 Per Annum
