Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, business, or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT software asset management.
• Strong experience with ServiceNow Software Asset Management (SAM).
• Ability to manage software normalization and entitlement processes.
• Familiarity with software discovery tools and data reconciliation.
• Experience designing and implementing software validation or compliance processes.
• Familiarity with ITIL and software licensing models.
• Excellent organizational and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration with internal teams and vendors.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement software normalization standards on ServiceNow.
• Perform analysis of discovery and reconciliation data to improve performance.
• Develop and maintain an inventory of approved software in ServiceNow.
• Establish alignment between software models and discovery models.
• Design, implement, and optimize software entitlement models and governance.
• Collaborate on rollout of a software validation process and timelines.
• Identify process touchpoints for performance monitoring and QA.
• Analyze license utilization and recommend remediation actions.
• Assist in implementing access controls for digital assets.
• Provide training and support on SAM policies and procedures.
• Ensure SAM practices comply with laws and industry standards.
• Maintain organized documentation related to SAM processes.
