Job summary

GTN Technical Staffing is hiring a Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to support license reconciliation, ServiceNow data management, and audit readiness. The role is hybrid in a contract capacity, targeting early-career professionals with SAM/ITAM experience.

The ideal candidate will reconcile entitlements, maintain ServiceNow records, and collaborate with vendors to obtain licensing documentation while ensuring compliance and robust data management processes.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), software licensing, vendor management, or CMDB operations.
• Experience with data reconciliation involving software entitlements, invoices, contracts, or system records.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow SAM, ITAM, or CMDB preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, filters, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and large datasets.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile software license entitlements against supplier records, contracts, invoices, and ServiceNow data
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies
• Maintain accurate application, entitlement, and contract records within ServiceNow
• Import, map, transform, and validate data from Excel and other sources into ServiceNow
• Work with software vendors and supplier portals to obtain entitlement and licensing documentation
• Maintain documentation and evidence to support compliance and audit readiness
• Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation and data management processes
