GTN Technical Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Software Asset Management (SAM) Analyst to support reconciliation of software entitlements with supplier records in ServiceNow. This entry-level to early-career role emphasizes data quality, audit readiness, and practical data integration from Excel sources.

The position is onsite in Houston, TX, for a 3+ month contract, and requires Green Card or US citizenship. Strong Excel skills and curiosity about SAM/CMDB are valued.

Qualifications

• 0–5 years of SAM/ITAM/CMDB experience or related fields.
• Strong data reconciliation skills across entitlements, invoices, contracts, and system records.
• Hands-on or quick learner of ServiceNow SAM/ITAM/CMDB modules.

Responsibilities

• Perform reconciliations between software entitlements, supplier records, contracts, and ServiceNow data.
• Investigate and resolve data discrepancies or escalate as needed.
• Maintain accurate ServiceNow records by updating fields for applications, entitlements, and contracts.
• Import and normalize data from Excel and other sources into ServiceNow (data mapping, transformations, validation).
• Research vendors and access portals for entitlements and invoices; maintain vendor contact information.
• Support audit readiness through documentation, evidence retention, and adherence to licensing controls.
• Identify and recommend improvements to reconciliation/data-management processes.
