Job summary

HEITMEYER CONSULTING INC is seeking a ServiceNow Platform Engineer to lead design, development, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform in Columbus, OH. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application development, ITSM, and ServiceNow.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow configuration, development, and administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and support ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.
• Troubleshoot complex platform issues and improve processes, performance, and user experience.
• Manage platform security: users, groups, roles, relationships, and ACLs.
• Monitor performance, identify debt, and apply ServiceNow best practices.
• Develop and maintain enterprise reporting strategies and platform-wide reporting.
• Partner with technology and business teams to translate requirements into scalable ServiceNow solutions.
• Provide technical guidance, training, and knowledge transfer to internal teams and business partners.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and job aids.

ServiceNow Platform Engineer

The ServiceNow Platform Engineer provides senior-level technical leadership for the design, development, administration, and support of the ServiceNow platform. This role will improve platform stability, security, performance, and overall user experience while helping business and technology teams maximize the value of ServiceNow.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, develop, and support ServiceNow applications and platform capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with one or more ServiceNow modules: ITSM, CSM, HRSD, SecOps, GRC/IRM, SAM, ITBM, or ITOM.
• Experience with ServiceNow User Experience, Service Intelligence, or Service Experience tools.
• Experience with REST APIs, web services, and JSON.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, integrations, security, and technical debt remediation.
• Experience working in large enterprise or financial-services environments.
