Overview

Job Posting: ServiceNow Engineer – Platform Operations

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Engineer – Platform Operations to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

About the Role: As a ServiceNow Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing support and enhancement requests across a variety of ServiceNow products and modules. You’ll troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, implement improvements, and contribute to the continuous evolution of the platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and fulfill support and enhancement requests across all ServiceNow modules, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
• Diagnose and resolve platform issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Design, configure, and develop solutions using ServiceNow best practices to support business needs and enhance processes.
• Build integrations between ServiceNow IRM and external GRC platforms, data lakes, and enterprise systems using APIs, MID servers, and tools like Mulesoft.
• Maintain documentation for processes, workflows, and configurations, ensuring compliance with internal standards and policies.
• Support all aspects of platform upgrades, including Plugin/Store App updates.
• Mentor junior team members and share expertise to build platform knowledge.
• Monitor platform health, manage performance, and maintain integration points.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and scrum teams to gather requirements and convert them into actionable ServiceNow solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience developing and supporting ServiceNow in an enterprise setting.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD) preferred.
• Proven experience with multiple ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, SecOps, and IRM.
• Strong understanding of ServiceNow architecture, data models, scripting (JavaScript, Glide API), and integrations.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with interconnected modules and core data structures across the ServiceNow platform.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence risk strategies through technology.
• Preferred: One or more ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certifications in major modules (ITSM, HR, CSM, or SecOps).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
