Job summary

WorkScoop is seeking an IT Specialist (SYSADM) ServiceNow Engineer open through the Office of Personnel Management delegated Direct Hire Authority. Selections will be processed as new civil service appointments for U.S.

citizens. The role involves serving as a leading technical authority for ServiceNow ITOM, advising SSA components on capabilities and configurations, and coordinating mainframe/client-server infrastructure changes.

Responsibilities

• Represent Systems Operations & Hardware Engineering technical committees, working with senior technical and managerial representatives in developing system-wide directives, standards, specifications, policies, strategies, guidelines, procedures, and practices for SSA's systems hardware development.
• Serve as leading technical authority in specific functional areas and provide advice to SSA components on technical capabilities, limitations, configuration, and related matters.
• Collaborate with supervisors and technical experts within other systems segments and SSA to negotiate and coordinate mainframe or client server infrastructure changes impacting other organizations.
• Implement, monitor, and enforce appropriate security measures to maintain mainframe or client server system integrity.
