Job summary

scicominfrastructureservices is looking for an Administrator for ServiceNow to maintain and enhance the ServiceNow platform across various modules. The role requires at least 4 years of ITSM experience, strong skills in JavaScript and other scripting languages, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

This position will be based primarily on-site in Burbank, CA, with one day of remote work allowed. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen or green card holder as it's a contract-to-hire role.

Job Title: Administrator, ServiceNow

Department: IT Infrastructure

Supervisor: Sr. Manager, ServiceNow

Role Summary

This position will administer the ServiceNow platform for the corporation. The candidate will ensure that the Instances and applications are maintained properly and will work independently and with direction to resolve defects and deliver enhancements. They will work in a consultative manner gathering business requirements of internal customers, assessing business needs, and designing and developing business solutions. Some independent projects include workflow design, technical design, and rewriting module code, forms, and workflows.

Specific Functions / Activities Summary

• Administer 4 ServiceNow Instances with various modules including ITSM, ITOM, SPO, SPM, and Workflow Data
• Ensure ServiceNow systems are maintained and enhanced according to industry best practices.
• Develop ServiceNow platform capabilities and tools like Discovery and Integration Hub and other applications as needed
• Assist in the design, development and implementation business applications within ServiceNow
• Experience in scripting language(s) like JavaScript, Python, Perl, Unix Shell, Windows Shell
• Utilize Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs and other aspects of the ServiceNow system
• Experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
• Experience with Scripted Web-Services, AJAX, SOAP, REST SSO-SAML
• Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro using CSS, HTML, Angular JS.

Special Requirements of the Job

Work will be performed on-site a minimum 4 days a week in a Corporate location with 1 day allowed remote at the discretion of management. Locations in Burbank, CA and NYC, New York.
