Job summary

WorkScoop is seeking an IT Specialist (SYSADM) ServiceNow Engineer open through the Office of Personnel Management delegated Direct Hire Authority. Selections will be processed as new civil service appointments for U.S.

citizens. The role involves serving as a leading technical authority for ServiceNow ITOM, advising SSA components on capabilities and configurations, and coordinating mainframe/client-server infrastructure changes.

Experience (GS‑14)

• Specialized experience at GS‑13 level or equivalent in planning, organizing, and monitoring ServiceNow workloads or projects.
• Providing expert advice on ServiceNow IT Operations Management (ITOM) requirements.
• Developing and implementing ServiceNow ITOM and ITIL‑based standards, guidelines, and policies.
• Integrating ServiceNow ITOM modules with legacy systems and performing database server configuration, migration, performance monitoring, tuning, security management, and troubleshooting.

Compensation

GS‑14 Base Salary – $107,446 to $139,684 per year. Salary ranges by location:

• Denver, CO – $140,239 – $182,316
• Durham, NC – $131,342 – $170,750
• Woodlawn, MD / Urbana, MD – $143,913 – $187,093
• Wilkes Barre, PA – $125,776 – $163,514
