Job summary

MISO is hiring a Software Engineer III (ServiceNow) to enhance and connect our enterprise service management platform. You will develop ServiceNow features, build integrations, and drive end-to-end delivery from design through testing to support in a governance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field with at least five years of development experience.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third‑party systems using REST APIs and Integration Hub.
• Familiarity with container technologies like Docker/Kubernetes (preferred).
• Certifications such as ServiceNow CSA, CAD, and ITIL v4 Foundation (preferred).
• Background in governance, risk, and compliance environments; NERC CIP experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and build ServiceNow applications to support ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Security Operations, and more.
• Create and maintain integrations between ServiceNow and third‑party systems using REST APIs.
• Leverage ServiceNow AI capabilities to automate workflows and improve efficiency.
• Ensure data integrity and security within ServiceNow with best practices and controls.
• Apply AI‑driven engineering practices to improve software delivery and stay current.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment; participate in testing, reviews, and production monitoring.
