Job summary

MetaPhase is seeking a Certified ServiceNow Application Developer to support a USDA NFC project. You will develop, customize, and sustain ServiceNow in a large federal environment, focusing on ITSM, CSM, CMDB, and Performance Analytics aspects.

Applicants must have CAD certification, strong portal/workflow design skills, and experience in agile SDLC processes. This remote role offers federal contract exposure and opportunities to impact government services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field is required.
• ServiceNow CAD certification required.
• CSA certification strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of hands-on ServiceNow configuration and development; 8+ years IT/Platform experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Configure, enhance, and sustain ServiceNow applications across development, QA, training, and production environments.
• Support operations and maintenance requests, workflow issues, and customer enhancements.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows, Flow Designer, business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, ACLs, notifications, catalog items, and update sets.
• Support portal development, Service Portal enhancements, self-service experiences, catalog functionality, knowledge access, and user-facing capabilities.
• Maintain foundation data synchronization for organization, agency, department, location, and related tables.
• Support CMDB, CSDM, asset management, Discovery, Service Mapping, and related data integrity activities.
• Develop dashboards, reports, KPIs, and Performance Analytics solutions for leadership visibility.
• Create and maintain integrations using REST/SOAP, MID Server, and IntegrationHub.
