Job summary

LNCsearch is seeking a mid-to-senior ServiceNow Developer to lead the migration of our ServiceNow environment to the latest platform version. You’ll work with senior developers and platform leadership to redesign legacy workflows, modernize configurations, and deliver scalable automation across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and workflow automation across business processes.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of ServiceNow admin/config/development in an enterprise environment (5+ years for senior-level responsibilities)
• Experience supporting upgrades, migrations, or major version transitions, including testing, documentation, and validation
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute migration to the latest ServiceNow release including testing and post-migration stabilization
• Document and review processes, workflows, forms, approvals, and automations; identify legacy configurations and gaps to clean up or rebuild
• Configure and develop ITSM, ITOM, CMDB workflows via Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, ACLs
• Build and maintain integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub) and data validation
• Create dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics for migration readiness
• Support unit testing, UAT, defect tracking, and retesting
• Contribute to governance, release management, and code reviews
• Explore ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist and Virtual Agent
• Produce docs and handoff materials for operations teams

ServiceNow Developer (Mid-to-Senior Level): Platform Migration & Modernization

We’re looking for a ServiceNow Developer to help lead and support the migration of our existing ServiceNow environment to the latest platform version. You’ll work with senior developers and platform leadership to redesign legacy workflows, modernize configurations, and deliver scalable automation across IT and business processes. This is a great fit for a hands-on developer who wants to contribute to a major modernization effort, whether you’re ready to lead complex enhancements or still growing toward that level.

What You’ll Do

• Support the planning and execution of the migration to the newest ServiceNow release, including assessment, remediation, testing, cutover, and post-migration stabilization
• Document and review existing processes, workflows, catalog items, forms, approvals, and automations, and identify legacy configurations and gaps to clean up or rebuild
• Configure and develop solutions across ITSM, ITOM, CMDB, and workflow automation using Flow Designer, Business Rules, Script Includes, UI Policies, Client Scripts, ACLs, and Catalog Items
• Build and maintain integrations (REST/SOAP, IntegrationHub, transform maps, data imports) and support data cleanup and validation
• Create dashboards, reports, and Performance Analytics to track process performance and migration readiness
• Support unit testing, UAT, defect tracking, and retesting
• Contribute to platform governance, code reviews, update set strategy, and release management best practices
• Explore and support ServiceNow AI capabilities such as Now Assist, AI Search, Virtual Agent, and Predictive Intelligence
• Produce documentation, knowledge articles, and handoff materials for operations teams

What You’ll Bring

• 1+ years of ServiceNow administration, configuration, or development experience in an enterprise environment (5+ years preferred for senior-level responsibilities, including leading complex platform enhancements)
• Experience supporting upgrades, migrations, or major version transitions, including testing, documentation, and validation
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions

Nice to Have

• ServiceNow CSA certification (completed or in progress)
• Exposure to recent ServiceNow releases or a prior upgrade/migration project
• Hands-on experience with Now Assist and other ServiceNow AI tools
• Experience with integrations, import sets, transform maps, and UAT coordination
• Interest in growing into a senior ServiceNow developer role
