Job summary

NMS IT is seeking a ServiceNow Designer in Annapolis, MD, to lead the design, integration, and deployment of the ServiceNow suite. This role requires active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance and office presence five days a week.

You will collaborate across teams to deliver secure, RMF-compliant solutions, develop automation with Ansible/Python/Terraform, and produce runbooks and training materials for users and operators.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance required.
• 10 years of experience combining work history and education.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance (Security+)
• ServiceNow CSA certification
• CompTIA Network+ or network background (desired)
• Experience across ServiceNow SDLC phases (concept, design, engineering, production, sustainment)
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, or SDLC methodologies
• Cross‑platform experience: Windows and Linux; Juniper and Cisco
• Foundational knowledge of RDBMS and SQL concepts
• Strong independent work capability and effective communication

Responsibilities

• Deploy, administer, and integrate the ServiceNow suite on RHEL and Windows.
• Collaborate with DBAs on database connectivity and performance.
• Work with Agile/Scrum and SDLC processes to plan, build, test, and deliver ServiceNow features.
• Design and implement integrations between ServiceNow and NSO, GOTS, and other tools using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, MID Server.
• Create and maintain design specs, runbooks, and user guides; provide handoff training as needed.
• Monitor performance and availability; build dashboards and alerts; remediate issues.
