J&T Business Consulting seeks a ServiceNow Software Designer 3 for a 100% on-site role in Springfield, United States. The candidate will lead the enterprise ServiceNow suite across Linux and Windows, mentor staff, and drive automation, SDLC, and complex integrations with tools like Cisco NSO.

Must hold TS/SCI with CI Polygraph; DoD IAT Level 2 compliance is required. The role emphasizes on-site delivery, collaboration with PMs, and secure production readiness.

Qualifications

• Must meet DoD IAT Level 2 requirements (e.g. CompTIA Security+).
• Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with external enterprise systems using Java, Python, Perl, or PowerShell.
• Strong background across Windows, Linux, and enterprise networking hardware.
• Agile, Scrum, or SDLC methodologies experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and guide the enterprise ServiceNow suite on Linux and Windows.
• Lead Agile/Scrum SDLC-driven engineering teams.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and Technical Leads on progress and risks.
• Direct system performance analysis, tuning, and optimization.
• Direct complex integration between ServiceNow, Cisco NSO, and other tools.
• Mentor the team in testing, validation, and verification best practices.
• Ensure deployable packages and smooth production handoffs.
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation and knowledge transfer.
