Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Sr. NMS ServiceNow Software Designer to lead deployment, integration, and optimization of the ServiceNow suite on mixed OS platforms. The role emphasizes collaboration with DBAs and developers, and adherence to Agile, SDLC, and RMF/A&A processes.

A strong background in automation (Ansible, Python, Terraform) and leadership of distributed teams is required. The position requires TS/SCI with poly clearance, 16 years of experience or equivalent, and ServiceNow certifications.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with poly clearance.
• 16 years of experience or equivalent education/experience.
• Must have IAT Level 2 cert (CompTIA Security+).
• Minimum 5 years ServiceNow experience.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator required.
• At least one additional advanced ServiceNow cert.
• Experience scripting in ServiceNow with JavaScript; integration with external systems (Java, Python, Perl, PowerShell).
• Strong leadership and automation/engineering integration skills.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, SDLC.
• Ability to work independently with distributed teams.
• Experience in ServiceNow lifecycle from concept to sustainment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee deployment, administration, development, and integration of ServiceNow on RHEL and Windows.
• Lead Agile/Scrum and SDLC project coordination and delivery.
• Coordinate with PMs and Tech Leads on progress, risks, and challenges.
• Direct integration with Cisco NSO, COTS, and enterprise tools.
• Maintain team documentation and provide hand-off training to operations.
• Monitor IT system and application performance and proactively address issues.
• Support RMF authorization and A&A efforts; ensure compliant solutions.
• Automate ServiceNow deployments using Ansible, Python, Terraform, PowerShell; mentor on testing and validation.
• Lead RCA and continuous improvement for complex incidents.
• Ensure deployable, production-ready solutions for Operations transition.
