Job summary

Applied Network Solutions, Inc. (ANS) is seeking a Software Engineer in Chantilly, VA to design, develop, test, and sustain ServiceNow-based solutions within a DoD-aligned environment. The role requires TS/SCI with polygraph, DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance, and deep expertise in ServiceNow on RHEL/Windows.

You will work with PMs and Tech Leads to deliver secure, scalable IT solutions. The candidate will implement REST/SOAP API integrations, collaborate across agile teams, and contribute to RMF

Qualifications

• Must have TS/SCI with Polygraph. DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance is required.
• Minimum 10 years of combined work history and education; experience with ServiceNow on RHEL/Windows is essential.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations via REST/SOAP APIs; strong SDLC/Agile experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan, analyze, design, develop, test, secure, integrate, implement, operate, and maintain ServiceNow features across the SDLC.
• Collaborate with PMs and Technical Leads to communicate status, risks, and technical challenges; provide estimates and inputs.
• Implement security hardening and RMF/A&A controls; apply DISA STIG/SCAP benchmarks as required.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and support handoff training.
