Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals is seeking a ServiceNow Developer to design, develop, and optimize our ServiceNow platform with a focus on CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping. You will work with Information Services and business teams to deliver scalable solutions and governance across IT operations.

The role includes platform administration, integrations, automation, and ongoing performance improvements, plus documenting processes for shared understanding.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Information Technology.
• Three+ years of experience supporting and developing within the ServiceNow platform.
• Experience with CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, Configuration Management, and application support.
• ServiceNow System Administrator Certification is required.
• Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, test, implement, and maintain ServiceNow solutions with a focus on CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM capabilities.
• Partner with business and Information Services teams to gather requirements, develop scalable solutions, and support enterprise platform initiatives.
• Advance CMDB maturity by improving configuration data quality, supporting governance standards, and enhancing automation across the platform.
• Support ServiceNow platform administration, integrations, upgrades, testing, release deployments, troubleshooting, and ongoing system performance improvements.
• Provide Tier 2 technical support, manage internal projects, maintain service level agreements, and create clear documentation for solutions and processes.
