Job summary
Midcontinent Independent System Operator (MISO) seeks a ServiceNow Automation Engineer to shape the ITSM automation landscape. You will design, optimize, and govern end-to-end ServiceNow workflows, leveraging Flow Designer, orchestration, and AI to minimize manual effort and improve service quality.
You will collaborate with IT teams to translate business needs into scalable, automated solutions, integrate with Splunk and Tripwire, and advance AI-assisted classification and decisioning across
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
- Deep knowledge of ServiceNow ITSM and Flow Designer.
- Experience with automation and orchestration.
- Experience with AI features in ServiceNow.
- Strong integration skills with APIs and external tools.
Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and maintain automated ServiceNow workflows to streamline ITSM processes.
- Integrate ServiceNow with external monitoring/security platforms for event-driven automation.
- Develop automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, Python) to reduce manual tasks.
- Refine automation logic and AI-driven models for higher accuracy.
- Ensure automations are audit-ready with evidence collection and validation.
- Translate business needs into scalable ServiceNow workflows with measurable impact.
- Leverage Now Assist, Agentic AI, and predictive/document intelligence to improve service efficiency.
