Overview
Steampunk is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Administrator to support one of our federal customers. This team supports the effort to modernize the agency information security program. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, who enjoys applying the latest technology to modernize enterprise IT delivery and risk management. The candidate must have a proven ability to learn quickly and leverage ServiceNow to solve real world problems and design solutions to promote security automation and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Supports Service Now team to design and mature CMDB, ITSM, and other modules by organizing and applying updated policy and workflows.
- Drives development of business process into Service Now applications to create self service catalog improvements.
- Designs solutions within the ServiceNow environment for applications, forms, workflows, UI, Business Rules, ACLs, Catalog Items, and any other ServiceNow related configurations required to support client process improvements.
- Support designs for ServiceNOW data loads, transform maps, and XMLs.
- Develops and maintains process mapping, depicting processes and workflows across organizational boundaries.
- Translates requirements and develops fully functional features by working closely with the team lead and stakeholders.
- Works with process owners to document current processes and re-design those processes in custom ServiceNow workflows to be more efficient
- Develops and maintains ServiceNOW and JIRA dashboard(s) for performance reporting. Provides ongoing implementation, change management, and strategic communications and documentation support.
- Utilizes Agile methodologies for ServiceNOW development and maintain Dev-Test-Prod pipelines
Qualifications
- Master's Degree and 3 years of relevant experience; OR
- Bachelor's Degree and 5 years of relevant experience; OR
- No degree and 9 years of relevant experience
- Possesses at least one professional certification relevant to the technical service provided. Maintain a certification relevant to the product being deployed and/or maintained.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
- 5-10+ years of experience supporting Enterprise IT programs.
- Experience with Service Now modules preferred (ITSM, CMDB, etc.).
- Experience with federal policy a plus.
