Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Administrator to support a DoD cloud platform program. You will work with senior engineers to administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow platform across a DoD hybrid-cloud environment.

This role is ideal for an early-career ServiceNow professional with ITSM foundation, basic scripting, and ITIL familiarity, looking to develop skills in platform integration, automation, RMF, and federal mission support. Flexible hybrid work with onsite as required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on ServiceNow administration experience is required.
• Foundation in ITSM and ITIL v3/v4 principles is required.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day ServiceNow administration, including user/group management, roles, ACLs, forms, lists, notifications, and UI policies.
• Support core ITSM processes: Incident, Problem, Change, Request/Service Catalog, Knowledge, and CMDB.
• Build and maintain catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, and scripts under guidance.
• Troubleshoot platform issues and escalate complex problems to ServiceNow support when needed.
• Assist with upgrades, patching, instance cloning, and testing update sets across environments.
• Maintain CMDB accuracy and support discovery and data integrity initiatives.
• Assist with integrations to Morpheus, OpsRamp, AD, and Keycloak using REST APIs and MID Servers.
• Develop reports/dashboards for operations and leadership visibility.
• Maintain technical docs, runbooks, and RMF DoD-compliant records.
