Job summary

PGTEK is seeking a Junior ServiceNow Administrator to support a DoD cloud platform program. You will work alongside senior engineers to administer, configure, and maintain the ServiceNow environment across a hybrid, DoD-focused setup.

Ideal candidates have a foundation in ITSM, basic scripting, and ServiceNow tooling. You will gain exposure to integrations, REST/MID Server workflows, and RMF/compliance practices while contributing to mission-support efforts.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience.
• Working knowledge of ITSM concepts and ITIL v3/v4 principles.
• Familiarity with JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day ServiceNow administration, including user and group management, roles, ACLs, forms, lists, notifications, and UI policies.
• Support core ITSM processes, including Incident, Problem, Change, Request/Service Catalog, Knowledge Management, and CMDB.
• Build and maintain catalog items, workflows, Flow Designer flows, business rules, and scripts under senior guidance.
• Troubleshoot platform issues, resolve tickets, and escalate to ServiceNow support when needed.
• Assist with platform upgrades, patching, instance cloning, and testing update sets across environments.
• Maintain accurate CMDB records and support discovery and data integrity initiatives.
• Assist with integrations between ServiceNow and other tools (Morpheus, OpsRamp, AD, Keycloak) using REST APIs and MID Servers.
• Develop reports and dashboards to support monitoring and leadership visibility.
• Maintain technical documentation and runbooks in line with DoD RMF requirements.
• Active Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship will be required.
• 1–3 years of hands-on ServiceNow administration experience.
• Preferred qualifications: ServiceNow CSA, CIS-ITSM, DoD/federal environment experience, REST/MID Server exposure.
