Winchester Equipment Co. is seeking a Service Writer to join our team in Winchester, VA.

The role centers on handling customer inquiries, documenting equipment issues, and coordinating repair work with technicians. The ideal candidate demonstrates excellent customer service, strong communication, and computer skills, with the ability to manage repair orders, provide accurate estimates, and keep customers informed throughout the service process.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and a strong phone presence.
• Proficient with computers and basic software used in service departments.
• Highly motivated, goal-driven, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when needed.
• Prior experience with construction equipment is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Answer phone calls and take clear descriptions of equipment issues.
• Manage repair orders and track status.
• Schedule service appointments and assign to technicians.
• Provide cost and time estimates for repairs.

Winchester Equipment Co., a growing company selling, renting and servicing top-of-the-line agricultural, construction, material handling and outdoor power equipment, has an immediate opening for a Service Writer.

Our ideal candidate will be responsible for:

• Answering phone calls, intake of customer’s description of equipment issue
• Repair order management
• Scheduling Service appointments and assigning to technicians
• Providing cost and time estimates for repairs
• Communicating the customer’s concerns to the technicians
• Keeping the customer informed of their equipment’s status
• Customer Satisfaction

Requirements:

• Highly motivated and goal driven
• Excellent Customer Service skills
• Excellent telephone and computer skills
• Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Prior experience with construction equipment preferred
