Job summary

Kimble in Dover, OH is seeking a motivated Heavy Equipment Service Writer to be the primary liaison between service technicians and customers, ensuring repairs are accurately documented and scheduled.

You will open and close repair orders, prepare estimates, track status, coordinate parts, and maintain organized service records. The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Writer/Service Advisor in heavy equipment or related industries is preferred.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment systems, diesel engines, hydraulics, and preventative maintenance.
• Strong communication, organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Computer proficiency and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license

QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous experience as a Service Writer, Service Advisor, or in the heavy equipment, construction, agricultural, trucking or diesel repair industry preferred


• Working knowledge of heavy equipment systems, diesel engines, hydraulics, and preventative maintenance


• Strong communication


• Excellent organizational and multitasking ab
