Job summary

The ideal candidate will have experience in industrial equipment or forklift service, excellent communication, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, while ensuring accurate documentation and timely maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree or industrial equipment/forklift training preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Background in equipment dealership operations or service department experience helpful.
• Understanding of industrial equipment and service technician duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead and train a team of service professionals; maintain customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed promptly.
• Create daily technician work schedules.
• Oversee day-to-day service department operations.
• Manage service paperwork: manuals, invoices, repair orders, maintenance records.
• Schedule and maintain preventive maintenance programs.
• Address warranty items and issues as needed.
