The ideal candidate has experience in service operations within an equipment dealership, knowledge of forklifts and related industrial gear, and the ability to manage documentation and quotes while maintaining service quality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree preferred or specific schooling in industrial equipment/forklift repair and management.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
• Background/experience in equipment dealership setting related to operations of a service department.
• Good understanding of industrial equipment, service technician duties and repair services.

Responsibilities

• Manage service team to maintain high morale and customer satisfaction while profitability is maintained.
• Ensure repairs and maintenance tasks are completed in a timely manner.
• Create and oversee daily technician schedules.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the service department.
• Manage service department paperwork, invoices, repair orders, and maintenance records.
• Schedule and maintain PM program.
• Handle warranty items and issues as needed.
