Job summary

North American Refrigeration is seeking a Service Technician to travel across the United States, install, troubleshoot, maintain, and test industrial refrigeration equipment. You will interact directly with customers, diagnose issues, and communicate resolutions while upholding safety standards.

You will perform pump-outs, start-ups after construction projects, and contribute to keeping systems running smoothly with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely reporting of expenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree or equivalent experience.
• CIRO/CARO certifications are preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Service & Support: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
• System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.
