Job summary

North American Refrigeration is seeking a Service Technician to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment at customer sites across the U.S. If you enjoy hands-on problem solving and building lasting customer relationships, this role is for you.

You will travel frequently, start-up equipment after projects, and ensure safety procedures are followed. A high school diploma or associate degree and CIRO/CARO certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree, or combination of relevant experience and education.
• Preferred CIRO/CARO certifications and knowledge of electrical components.
• Ability to work well independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
• Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
• Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to safety standards and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.

• System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
