Job summary

North American Refrigeration is seeking a skilled Service Technician to travel to customer facilities across the U.S., install, repair, maintain, and test equipment, and keep facilities running smoothly.

You will diagnose issues, communicate resolutions, and build strong customer relationships while adhering to safety standards and company guidelines. A valid CIRO/CARO is a plus; high school diploma or associate degree required; willingness to travel and work independently.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Service & Support: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
• System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.

Qualifications:

• Preferred : CIRO/CARO certifications, experience with industrial refrigeration systems, and knowledge of electrical components.
