Job summary

North American Refrigeration is actively seeking a Service Technician to travel to customer facilities across the United States, installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing equipment. You will diagnose issues, propose practical solutions, and communicate results to customers and the Service Manager.

As part of the role, you will perform system start-ups after projects, ensure safety procedures are followed, build strong customer relationships, and manage expenses with accuracy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or associate degree or relevant experience.
• CIRO/CARO certifications preferred.
• Experience with industrial refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of electrical components.
• Ability to work well independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide service and support: travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test equipment.
• Diagnose issues, determine solutions, and communicate resolutions to customers or Service Manager.
• Complete pump-outs and start-up equipment after construction projects.
• Build strong customer relationships and keep them informed about progress and solutions.
• Follow safety procedures and ensure timely incident reporting.
• Submit accurate and timely expense reports per guidelines.
• Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel across the continental U.S.
• Take on additional duties as needed to keep projects moving and customers happy.

What You'll Do:

• System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.
