Job summary

North American Refrigeration is seeking a Service Technician to travel nationwide, installing, repairing, maintaining, and testing facility equipment at customer sites. You will diagnose issues, implement solutions, and communicate results to customers and the Service Manager.

Responsibilities include system start-ups after projects, building strong customer relationships, adhering to safety standards, and submitting accurate expense reports while traveling frequently across the continental U.S.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an associate degree, or a combination of relevant experience and education.
• Preferred: CIRO/CARO certifications, experience with industrial refrigeration systems, and knowledge of electrical components.
• Ability to work well independently with limited supervision.

What You'll Do:

• Provide Service & Support: Travel to customer facilities across the U.S. to install, repair, maintain, and test facility equipment.
• Problem Solving: Diagnose issues, determine the right solutions, and communicate resolutions to the customer or Service Manager.
• System Start-Ups: Complete pump-outs and start up equipment after construction projects, ensuring everything runs seamlessly.
• Customer Interaction: Build strong relationships with customers while keeping them informed about service progress and solutions.
• Adhere to Safety Standards: Follow all safety procedures and ensure incident reporting is timely and accurate.
• Expense Management: Submit accurate and timely expense reports in line with North American Refrigeration's guidelines.
• Clean Driving Record: Maintain a clean driving record and be prepared to travel extensively across the continental U.S.
• Other Duties: Take on additional responsibilities as needed to keep projects moving forward and customers happy.
