Job summary

General Services Corporation is seeking an experienced maintenance technician in Georgia to service and repair appliances and HVAC units across residential properties. You will perform installations, respond to work orders, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental rules.

Candidates should have 3+ years in HVAC, plumbing and electrical work, EPA Type 2 or Universal certification, a valid driver’s license, and be able to pass background and drug tests.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of HVAC repair and related trades.
• EPA Certification Type 2 or Universal required.
• HVAC installation and troubleshooting experience.
• Must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug test.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary.
• Comply with environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Job Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner

• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills
• Must be EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal)
• HVAC installation experience
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Passing a criminal background check required
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skills
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
