Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking an on-site Maintenance Technician with HVAC expertise to service residential properties in Nashville, TN. You will perform repairs, installations, and routine maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance with all regulations.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in HVAC repair, EPA Type 2 or universal certification, and strong customer service skills. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift 100 lbs are required; Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of HVAC repair experience.
• EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal).
• HVAC installation experience.
• Customer service orientation and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely, proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents.
• Repair and/or install appliances and HVAC units as needed to maintain quality dwellings.
• Comply with environmental, OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner
• Provide excellent customer service to our Residents.
• Repair and/or install all appliances and HVAC units as necessary to maintain a quality dwelling.
• Must comply with all environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills
• Must be EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal)
• HVAC installation experience
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Passing a criminal background check required
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skills
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
