Job summary

General Services Corporation (GSC) is seeking a Service / Maintenance Technician III to support residential properties in Raleigh, NC. You will perform HVAC repairs, install units, and service appliances while delivering excellent customer service to residents.

The role requires 3+ years in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, electrical work, EPA 2/Universal certification, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll work under safety regulations and may lift up to 100 lbs. Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry and electrical skills required.
• EPA Certification Type 2 or Universal is required.
• HVAC installation and troubleshooting experience preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and ability to pass a background check are required.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely and proficient manner.
• Provide excellent customer service to Residents.
• Repair and/or install appliances and HVAC units to maintain quality dwelling.
• Must comply with environmental and OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Handle other general maintenance tickets as assigned.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Have at least 3 years' experience in HVAC repair, plumbing, basic carpentry, and electrical skills.
• Must be EPA Certified (Type 2 or Universal).
• HVAC installation experience.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Apartment maintenance experience is a plus.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Passing a criminal background check required.
• Ability to lift 100 lbs.
• Spanish language skills are a plus.
• Initiative and customer service skill.
