Job summary

Securitas Technology seeks a Service Technician II (Locksmith) to service and support security solutions at customer sites. You will handle on-site installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of high-security systems, including access control and CCTV, with strong problem-solving and documentation skills.

Responsibilities include testing upgrades, documenting changes, and collaborating with teams to ensure uptime and performance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required or equivalent.
• Familiarity installing and troubleshooting low voltage equipment.
• Strong working knowledge of commercial access control, CCTV, burglary alarm, intrusion systems, and fire alarms.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal communications skills.
• Working knowledge of network communications and IP addressing.
• Certifications in enterprise grade CCTV and Access Control systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Respond to trouble tickets to ensure uptime and system performance.
• Service STC products at customer sites.
• Execute pre-deployment end-to-end testing of upgrades and major modifications.
• Perform on-site installations of software upgrades and major modifications.
• Document all system modifications through a digital change control tracking system.
• Produce quality technical documentation describing deployment for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Work individually and as a team to diagnose and resolve application issues.
