Job summary

In-N-Out Burger in Chino is seeking a Maintenance Service Technician to join our Maintenance Depot as a full-time, HVAC-certified technician. You will service cooking equipment, A/C, refrigeration, plumbing, and other restaurant systems, often traveling to stores regionally for emergencies.

The role requires safety-conscious, independent workers with a CA driver’s license and experience with commercial maintenance. Hours are 7:00 a.m.

Qualifications

• EPA and HVAC certifications are required.
• At least 1 year in refrigeration or restaurant equipment repair preferred.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting experience is required.
• Knowledge of 3-phase high voltage AC power is preferred.
• Soda fountain knowledge and trade school experience are a plus.
• Experience as a maintenance tech on commercial jobs is required.
• A valid CA Driver's License is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair restaurant equipment including cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, doors, shelves, etc.
• Work independently with little supervision.
• Travel to In-N-Out stores regionally for emergencies on short notice.
• Observe safety guidelines and keep the work area clean.
• Full-time, hourly (non-exempt).
• Schedule is five days per week with holidays and weekends.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Maintenance Service Technician based in our Chino Maintenance Depot. The Maintenance Service Technician needs to be HVAC certified, and will work for the Maintenance Shop.

General Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of large restaurant equipment - Cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, door, shelves, etc.
• Working well independently with little or no supervision
• Traveling to the In-N-Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies
• Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of your specific work area
• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
• Schedule: Five (5) days a week, rotating schedule including holidays and weekends
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., occasional on-call availability required
• Pay Range is $24.16 - $27.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Strong experience working as a Maintenance tech on commercial jobs
