Job summary

In-N-Out Burger in Salt Lake City/Sandy, UT is seeking a full-time Maintenance Service Technician with HVAC and EPA certifications to service our restaurant equipment, including cooking gear, A/C, refrigeration, plumbing and electrical systems.

Candidates must live within a 30-mile radius, enjoy working independently, and be willing to travel regionally to stores as needed. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k)/profit sharing plan and education reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certification and HVAC certification.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in refrigeration, air conditioning repair, restaurant equipment repair.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience.
• Knowledge of High Voltage AC Power (3 Phase).
• Soda Fountain experience is a plus.
• Valid UT Driver’s License (company vehicle provided).

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Maintenance Service Technician covering our Salt Lake City/Sandy, UT market. The Maintenance Service Technician needs to be HVAC certified, and will work for the Service department.

Candidates must live within 30-mile radius from service area.

General Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of all In-N-Out Burger restaurant equipment - Cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, door, shelves, etc.


• Working well independently with little or no supervision


• Traveling to the In-N-Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies


• Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of your specific work area

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)


• Schedule: Five (5) days a week, rotating schedule including holidays and weekends


• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., occasional on-call availability required


• Travel is required (25%) and it is preferred if this individual lives in close proximity to the Salt Lake City area

Pay Range is $34.81-$38.90 per hour

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certification and HVAC certification
