In-N-Out Burger in California is seeking a full-time Maintenance Service Technician to cover the South Bay/Los Angeles market. You will service restaurant equipment, HVAC systems, refrigeration, plumbing, and related systems; EPA and HVAC certifications are required. Candidates must live within 15 miles of Torrance, travel 25% of the time, and work a 7:00 a.m.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Maintenance Service Technician covering our South Bay/Los Angeles market. The Maintenance Service Technician needs to be HVAC certified, and will work for the Service department.

Candidates must live within 15-mile radius from Torrance.

General Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of all In-N-Out Burger restaurant equipment - Cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, door, shelves, etc.
• Working well independently with little or no supervision
• Traveling to the In-N-Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies
• Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of your specific work area

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
• Schedule: Five (5) days a week, rotating schedule including holidays and weekends
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., occasional on-call availability required
• Travel is required (25%) and it is preferred if this individual lives in close proximity to the South Bay/LA area
• Pay Range is $34.00 - $38.00 per hour The above represents the expected pay range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we'll consider your experience and other job-related factors.

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certification and HVAC certification
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in working in refrigeration, air conditioning repair, restaurant equipment repair
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
• Knowledge of High Voltage AC Power (3 Phase)
• ‘Soda Fountain’ and trade school experience is a plus
• Strong experience working as a Maintenance tech on commercial jobs
• A valid CA Driver’s License is required (Company vehicle provided)
