Job summary

In-N-Out Burger is seeking a full-time Maintenance Service Technician to support the Orange County market. The ideal candidate will be HVAC and EPA certified with 3+ years of refrigeration, A/C and restaurant equipment experience.

A CA driver’s license is required and a company vehicle is provided; candidates should reside within 30 miles of Orange County. The role involves maintaining and repairing equipment across stores, working independently, and traveling to regional locations as needed,

Qualifications

• HVAC and EPA certifications required.
• Minimum 3 years of refrigeration, A/C or restaurant equipment experience.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of high voltage AC power.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair restaurant equipment including cooking equipment, A/C, refrigeration, plumbing and lighting.
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Travel to In-N-Out stores within the region as needed to respond to issues.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and keep the work area clean and organized.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Maintenance Service Technician covering our Orange County, CA market. The Maintenance Service Technician needs to be HVAC certified, and will work for the Service department.

Candidates must live within 30-mile radius from Orange County.

General Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of all In-N-Out Burger restaurant equipment - Cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, door, shelves, etc.
• Working well independently with little or no supervision
• Traveling to the In-N-Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies
• Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of your specific work area

Work Schedule + Benefits

• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
• Schedule: Five (5) days a week, rotating schedule including holidays and weekends
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m., occasional on-call availability required
• Travel is required (25%) and it is preferred if this individual lives in close proximity to the Orange County area
• Pay Range is $34.00 - $38.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certification and HVAC certification
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in working in refrigeration, air conditioning repair, restaurant equipment repair
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
• Knowledge of High Voltage AC Power (3 Phase)
• ‘Soda Fountain’ and trade school experience is a plus
• Strong experience working as a Maintenance tech on commercial jobs
• A valid CA Driver’s License is required (Company vehicle provided)
