Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of restaurant equipment (Cooking, A/C, refrigeration, plumbing, carpentry, doors, shelves).
• Work independently with minimal supervision.
• Travel to In-N-Out stores in the region as needed for emergencies.
• Observe safety guidelines and keep the work area clean.
• Full-time, hourly (non-exempt) with a rotating schedule including holidays/weekends.
• Travel 25% and be able to travel to stores within the region.

We have an excellent opportunity for a full-time, experienced Maintenance Service Technician covering our Orange County, CA market. The Maintenance Service Technician needs to be HVAC certified, and will work for the Service department.

*Candidates must live within 30-mile radius from Orange County.

General Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair of all In-N-Out Burger restaurant equipment – Cooking equipment, A/C units, refrigeration, plumbing, light carpentry, door, shelves, etc.
• Working well independently with little or no supervision
• Traveling to the In-N-Out stores in your region at a moment’s notice, in case of emergencies
• Observing all safety guidelines and maintaining the cleanliness of your specific work area
• Full-time position, Hourly (non-exempt)
• Schedule: Five (5) days a week, rotating schedule including holidays and weekends
• Hours: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., occasional on-call availability required
• Travel is required (25%) and it is preferred if this individual lives in close proximity to the Orange County area
• Pay Range is $34.00 - $38.00 per hour

Qualifications

• Must have EPA certification and HVAC certification
• A minimum of three (3) years’ experience in working in refrigeration, air conditioning repair, restaurant equipment repair
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair experience
• Knowledge of High Voltage AC Power (3 Phase)
• ‘Soda Fountain’ and trade school experience is a plus
• Strong experience working as a Maintenance tech on commercial jobs
• A valid CA Driver’s License is required (Company vehicle provided)
