Job summary

BH Management Services, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I to support the maintenance of apartment communities, diagnose problems, perform repairs, and assist with make-readies. You will engage in preventive maintenance and support construction or rehab projects as needed.

The role requires six months to one year of general maintenance experience, basic computer skills, and working knowledge of HVAC. It also involves lifting up to 50 pounds and working under supervision in various weather

Qualifications

• Six months to one year general maintenance and safety experience.
• Basic computer skills required to perform job functions.
• Working knowledge of HVAC is preferred.
• Regular manual, task-oriented work under direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and routine maintenance to restore units to move-in ready condition.
• Assist with apartment make-readies and preventive maintenance programs.
• Troubleshoot and address hazards on property and report to managers.
• Maintain property-issued tools and assist with upkeep of common areas and exterior grounds.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities including inclement weather.
