Job summary

Westdale is seeking a Service Technician I for our 310-unit luxury high-rise in Deep Ellum, Dallas. You will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, handle general upkeep of common areas, and contribute to a fast-paced, teamwork-driven environment.

Requirements include at least 1 year of apartment maintenance experience, ability to follow instructions, and a willingness to work weekends and be on-call for emergencies. Competitive benefits accompany a supportive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Work Days: Monday - Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
