Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Austin, TX is seeking a Service Technician I for our 300-unit community. You will turn vacant units into ready homes, perform repairs, and maintain grounds and common areas to uphold property standards.

Responsibilities include completing move-in readiness checklists, walking the grounds, and supporting the Community Manager and Service Supervisor. A valid Texas driver's license is required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call every other week for emergencies.

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
***Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Requirements

• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.

• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call every other weekfor emergencies.

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
