Job summary

Westdale Asset Management is seeking a Service Technician I for a 309-unit apartment community in Greenway Plaza, Houston. You will turn vacant units into move-in ready homes and maintain the property grounds, delivering reliable service to residents.

Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of maintenance experience, can follow instructions, and work well in a fast-paced, customer-focused team. Valid Texas Driver’s License and on-call weekend rotations are required.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must be able to work weekends on occasion and be on-call for emergencies.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, customer-service environment.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Complete a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up trash and debris.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

***Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.***

We are seeking a Service Technician I for our 309-unitapartment community located in the heart of Greenway Plaza, just minutes from Downtown Houston! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Requirements

• At least 1 year of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies
