Job summary

Westdale Asset Management in Arlington, TX is seeking a Service Technician I to turn vacant apartments into ready homes and to maintain common areas.

The role requires bilingual English/Spanish, maintenance experience, and the ability to work independently or with a team in a fast-paced environment. On-site position with weekend on-call possible.

Qualifications

• Bilingual ability required in English and Spanish.
• Experience maintaining an apartment community preferred.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions.

Responsibilities

• Perform minor repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Prepare vacant apartments to be move-in ready.
• Inspect grounds and common areas; perform cleanup as needed.
• Follow duties set by Community Manager and Service Supervisor.

Rate: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)
Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.

We are seeking a Service Technician I for our 232-unitapartment community conveniently nestled mid-cities, in Arlington, close to I-20 and Hwy 287! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. Requirements

• At least year of previous maintenance experience on an apartment community.


• Bilingual (English/Spanish).


• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.


• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.


• Must be able to work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer service-oriented environment.


• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.


• Certified Pool Operator (CPO) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.


• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.


• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.


• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Work Hours:

Required License or Certification:
