Job summary

Westdale in Austin is seeking a Service Technician I for our 300-unit resort-inspired community. You will turn vacant units into ready homes, maintain the property, and support grounds and common areas. The role emphasizes teamwork and opportunities to advance within the company.

The position is hourly, non-exempt, with on-call requirements on weekends and a monthly renewal bonus in addition to base pay. Valid Texas driver’s license is preferred for this role.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work independently or with a team in a fast-paced, customer-service environment.
• Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call every other week for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing duties checklist to prep vacant apartments for move-in.
• Walking grounds and common areas and picking up trash.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by Community Manager or Service Supervisor.

Rate: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour (Hourly non-exempt position)

As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. • Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call every other weekfor emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas as well as picking up trash and debris.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by both the Community Manager and/or Service Supervisor.

Work Days: Monday – Friday
Work Hours: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm; Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
Required License or Certification: Valid Texas Driver’s License.
