Job summary

Westdale Asset Management, LLC is seeking a Service Technician I for a 300-unit apartment community near the University of North Texas and Texas Woman's University. The role centers on turning vacant units into move-in ready homes and maintaining grounds and common areas.

Ideal candidates have at least 6 months of apartment maintenance experience, can follow directions, and work both independently and in a team in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of maintenance experience on an apartment community.
• Must meet all physical requirements and be able to take direction.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Work both independently and with a team in a fast-paced, customer-service environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing minor repairs and maintenance.
• Completing a duties checklist to ensure vacant apartments are move-in ready.
• Walking the property grounds and common areas and picking up trash and debris.
• Performing additional duties as assigned by the Community Manager or Service Supervisor.

Monthly renewal bonuses are paid in addition to base pay.

We are seeking a Service Technician I for our 300-unit apartment community minutes from the University of North Texas, Texas Woman's University, and easily accessible to I-35! As Service Technician I, you will turn vacant units into beautiful apartments, preparing them for new residents to call home. You will also be responsible for the general upkeep of the property grounds and common areas. • Weekends as circumstances warrant; on-call on a rotating basis for emergencies.
