Job summary

Windsor Communities in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Lease Up Service Technician I to support new resident onboarding in the University Area. The role offers hourly compensation and an opportunity to grow within a award-winning company committed to customer service excellence.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in multifamily, hotel, or building maintenance, comfort with safety systems, and proficiency with smart devices and property management software.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in multifamily, commercial, or hotel maintenance.
• Familiar with fire systems and building safety measures.
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software to maintain records.
• Proficient with hand tools and basic power tools.
• Demonstrates commitment to Windsor Communities values and resident service.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair apartment homes, common areas, and systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service multifamily properties and related facilities.
• Assist in on-site operations to ensure resident safety and satisfaction.
• Record work orders and use property management software for updates.
• Participate in on-call rotations and flexible scheduling as required.

Lease Up Service Technician I | Windsor Charlotte, University Area - Charlotte, NC

Successful Service Technicians can come from a variety of backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management.

Compensation: Our company considers a range of factors including education and experience when determining base compensation.

Hourly: Starting at $17.22- $21.53 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location.

Your Skills

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance
• Familiarity with building safety systems including the fire systems (sprinklers/alarms)
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools
• Support the company’s values and cultures by providing exceptional service to teammates and residents
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and apply preventative measures with apartment homes, common areas, mechanical rooms, plumbing, electrical and appliance areas

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations
