Job summary

Windsor Communities is hiring a Lease Up Service Technician I in Charlotte, NC (University Area). The role involves maintenance work across multifamily properties, with emphasis on safety systems and efficient service to residents.

Experience with property management software and a hands-on approach to repairs is essential. Expect an hourly wage with benefits and an on-call rotation as part of a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance.
• Familiarity with building safety systems including fire systems.
• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for records and work orders.
• Advanced knowledge of hand and power tools, and a service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and prevent issues in apartment homes and common areas.
• Support ongoing safety and compliance across mechanical rooms, plumbing and electrical areas.
• Provide exceptional service to teammates and residents.

Lease Up Service Technician I | Windsor Charlotte, University Area - Charlotte, NC

Successful Service Technicians can come from a variety of backgrounds including apartment maintenance, HVAC, general labor, construction, hotel, general building maintenance, and work order management.

Compensation:

Our company considers a range of factors including education and experience when determining base compensation.

Hourly:

Starting at $17.22- $21.53 per hour, depending on years of experience, tenure, and location.

Benefits:

Your Skills:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with multifamily residential, commercial or hotel maintenance

• Ability to use smart devices and property management software for maintaining accurate records and work order completion
• Advanced knowledge of hand tools and basic power tools

Requirements:

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, some weekend work and ability to participate in the on-call rotations
